About Me

My Qualifications:

Hi, I’m Caroline.

I am a qualified psychotherapist and counsellor with a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy. I am also registered with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) working with their standards, ethics, and professionalism.

I have worked for 20 years in the private sector specialising in the Hospitality Industry from service to managerial level. I continue to have a great passion for the industry and the people that work within the sector, who have like many suffered particularly with the recent impact of COVID 19 in their industry and personal lives.

After becoming a parent, I wanted to pursue my other passion for serving people in mental health. I have experienced and witnessed pressure of work and modern living on mental health. I have a special interest in working with stress and ‘burn-out’ in addition to managing past traumatic experiences and working on increasing self-esteem.

My initial training is grounded in Purist Person-Centred Therapy. A belief in everyone’s ability and human right towards positive living by offering respect for personal autonomy and an empathic ‘way of being.’ This is a philosophy that is embedded in my approach and inspiration for working with and helping others.
