About Me
Hi, I’m Caroline.
I am a qualified psychotherapist and counsellor with a PGDip in Counselling and Psychotherapy and an MA in Integrative Counselling. I am also registered with the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) working with their standards, ethics, and professionalism.
I have worked for 20 years in the private sector specialising in the Hospitality Industry from service to managerial level. I continue to have a great passion for the industry and the people that work within the sector.
After becoming a parent, I wanted to pursue my other passion for serving people in mental health. I have experienced and witnessed the pressure of work and modern living on mental health. I have and continue to pursue a specialism in working with chronic stress and ‘burnout’ and increasing self-esteem.
My initial training is grounded in Purist Person-Centred Therapy. A belief in everyone’s ability and human right towards positive living by offering respect for personal autonomy and an empathic ‘way of being.’ This is a philosophy that is embedded in my integrative approach and inspiration for working with and helping others.
